This workshop is designed for design professionals, brand managers, and anyone with a passion for typography and branding.  

 

Led by Creative Type Director Emilios Theofanous, you'll gain insider knowledge on the nuanced principles of type design, optical corrections, and best practices for digitising hand-drawn sketches or lettering - all with a focus on elevating your brand identity. Theofanous has extensive experience working with agencies, designing and refining logotypes for brands across industries and regions.  

 

During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to put your newly acquired knowledge into practice by refining logotypes - feel free to bring your own lettering or logotype to have an interactive exchange with Theofanous! Theofanous will also share the current state-of-the-art process for producing Variable Fonts, how to best pair typefaces for consistent global branding and the latest design trends and showcase how designers apply these principles for accessible and creative typography that supports impactful brand design.
