Dr Edmund Lee is General Manager & Head of Group ESG Initiatives of Gold Peak Technology Group. He is the former Executive Director of Hong Kong Design Centre, the HKSAR Government’s strategic partner in design dedicated to raising Hong Kong’s profile as an international design hub in Asia and driving value creation through creative thinking, design and innovation.

He has a broad range of leadership roles and extensive management experience gained in science-based, design-led and innovation-driven organisations across public and private sectors.  He is a Companion of Chartered Management Institute, a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and a Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Directors. 

Trained as a biotechnologist in biomanufacturing and pharmaceutical industry with PhD from King’s College London and MBA from Warwick Business School, Edmund has emerged as a public-sector entrepreneur, a change champion, a design advocate and a Listco executive. He has also completed executive education in Sustainable Leadership & ESG Investing, Design, Smart City, Blockchain, Corporate Governance and Non-profit Management from globally renowned institutions.
