Sylvie Corréard’s mission is to pursue the development strategy defined by the administration council of Les Arts Décoratifs and to affirm its international dimension.

Appointed in May 2017 to the Prime Minister’s cabinet as Cultural and Communications Technical Advisor, Corréard oversaw projects within the scope of the Ministry of Culture, notably in the fields of cultural heritage and museums.

Corréard has previously served in the museum sector as Administrator of the Centre Pompidou and Secretary General of the City of Paris Museum of Modern Art, and in the film sector as Director of the Cannes Film Festival’s Cinéfondation, Managing Director of DIRE (Distributeurs Indépendants Réunis Européens), and Project Manager for the Director of École Nationale Supérieure des Métiers de l’Image et du Son (Fémis).
